 All Calls For Holiday

It is my esteemed honor to announce the beginning production stages of a new issue of Magic Typewriter, Holiday: Volume III. This volume's theme is focused on any type of voyage, daytrip, or journey whose goal is to bring a character and/or artwork's subject distraction, respite, or relaxation. What the character/subject finds on that journey is up to the creator. The current working publishing date is set for September of 2025, with the submission deadline for both artworks and manuscripts August of 2025. Below are the specific all calls:

All Call For Artists

This is an all call for all artists/photographers who are interested in submitting a piece for Magic Typewriter #3: Holiday. We are looking for images and drawings that take place at a real or imagined vacation spot. Or spin an ordinary, boring location into an eye-catching wonder.

All Calls For Writers

This is a writing callout for those interested in submitting a manuscript of 20,000 words or less to the upcoming publication Magic Typewriter: Holiday. Holiday stories will focus on a character experiencing or reminiscing about a journey of respite, relaxation, or distraction from their everyday lives. What they find on that journey, is up to the storyteller. All stories, essays, poems, scripts, mini columns (EX: polls, a list of favorite things to do while on vacation, top road trip songs, etc.) are welcome.

As always, everyone involved will receive a free black and white copy of the magazine. If anyone wants a colored copy, they will have to pay the surplus fee.
